Join us for more innovations in mixed media techniques. This hands-on series is designed for ALL levels, offering a creative space to explore and experiment.

What to Expect:
Warm-Up Projects:
Each session will begin with encouraging warm-up projects like two-handed painting and unconventional tools.
Backgrounds
as a Jumping off point
we will experiment with inks, graphite, chalks and stamps.
Technique Flip Book
Throughout the series, you will create a personalized technique flip book. This will serve as a visual reference, with your notes, making it easy to revisit your favorite methods whenever inspiration strikes.
Large paintings
Dive into the process of large-scale mixed media paintings. With engaging prompts you'll discover new effects. Let’s work large and a little bit messy in an area set up to accommodate the experiment of discovery.
Innovations on the Gel Plate
We’ll dedicate a section to
Gel plate play and expand your skill set introducing fresh ideas.
Individual Direction
This class is designed to accommodate individual artistic directions, allowing you to pursue your unique vision while benefiting from having an art waitress.
Spacious Environment
Our class will foster an open and supportive environment to fully immerse yourself in the creative process.

About The Teacher.
Sharon Collins is an artist and arts education advocate specializing in child development. She works as an artist in residence for San Francisco Unified School District and has been teaching for 35 years.
She also has a studio at Sanchez Art Center in Pacifica, CA. where she teaches adult classes.
The classes encourage confidence to experiment and continue work on your own. Her class room environment is fun, supportive and non judgmental.
