I’m Sharon Collins
I taught art for 35 years in public schools. I started many programs because I valued the joy of process and creativity as a vital part of a person’s development. The programs made room for variation to build a sense of confidence. Seeing so many people enjoying themselves got me hooked into teaching art. I would set up large lab situations which let students come in to experiment and make their own discoveries. Everyone wanted to be there.
